Martyn’s academic interests are programme design, business strategy and HRM. He came to the University of Kent from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, where for five years he was the Director of the School of Management and Business. He is a member of the International Accreditation Advisory Council, the International Accreditation Advisory Board and the International Accreditation Management Board for the Association of MBAs. Academic appointments have been at the Royal Military College of Science at Shrivenham and at Cranfield School of Management, where he was Director of the MBA. Prior to this he was a Colonel in the Army.
